When measuring for solid surface countertops, use the largest slab sizes as often as you can, and measure in square or rectangular sizes. Quartz comes in large rectangular slabs and you'll be paying for the whole slab, regardless of use.

On corner ledge slabs, measure the area of A & B together as a square.
